Government Restrictions

The restrictions placed on gyms are:

– 1 person per 4sqm
– A maximum of 20 people per class
– Masks must be worn (Note: People engaging in exercise are exempt, you may remove your mask when you start exercising)
– QR code scan-in is mandatory (if you do not have a mobile phone paper sign-in will be available)
– Until December 1st, only fully vaccinated people (unless exempt) will be permitted to enter most venues and facilities in NSW that aren’t essential.

Valid forms of proof of vaccination:

  • A COVID-19 digital certificate displayed through the Medicare App
  • Service NSW App or equivalent smartphone wallet
  • Printed version of the COVID-19 digital certificate or immunisation history statement  
  • Successful completion of a Service NSW QR check-in that includes vaccination confirmation.

Please note, it is a government requirement that businesses check for proof of vaccination, until December 1st, 2021

Gym Safety

In addition to our daily cleaning schedule we have added the following protocols:

– Added regular cleaning of high-touch areas throughout the day
– Added hand sanitiser stations to gym entries and throughout the gym
– Added cleaning stations throughout the gym so members can wipe equipment before and after use
– Please do not attend the gym if you are unwell, get tested and go home

Memberships

All memberships will come off hold automatically when the gym re-opens.

Can I put my membership on hold? Yes you can. Please email freeze requests to info@hiscoes.com.au.

How do I cancel my membership? Please email cancellation requests to info@hiscoes.com.au. There is a 21-day notice period for cancellations.

What if there is a positive COVID case at Hiscoes? The Service NSW QR Code check-in system will remain in place and will be used to notify people who were in the same venue as a positive case. Members are encouraged to follow the advice given to them by NSW Health. Hiscoes will take any further action advised my NSW Health.
