In addition to our incredibly experienced personal training team, we also have a fully qualified exercise physiologist on staff. Caitlin Stanistreet, our Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) specialises in the delivery of exercise for the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries.

Why should you see an Accredited Exercise Physiologist?

Accredited Exercise Physiologists specialise in preventing or managing acute, sub- acute or chronic disease or injury. AEPs can help with restoring one’s optimal physical function, health or wellness. Interventions are exercise-based and include health and physical activity education, advice and support and lifestyle modification with a strong focus on achieving behavioural change.

Our AEP can help you:

  • manage persisting pain caused by injury or overuse
  • improve your heart health
  • exercise safely to benefit your diabetes
  • reduce risk of pre-diabetes from progressing to full diabetes
  • assist with your recovery following cancer treatment
  • manage arthritis and osteoperosis
  • use exercise to help with mental health conditions

Caitlin is offering complimentary consultations to Hiscoes members on the following Saturdays from 9am – 1pm:  June 16,  July 14 & 28, August 11th & 25th
